It's not

just about students.

Educator well-being is essential for student success.

At Educator Culture Matters, our resources are designed to promote a positive climate, foster an inclusive culture, and support staff well-being.

We believe that enhancing these aspects "behind the scenes" enables educators to perform at their highest potential.

This directly contributes to improved student outcomes.

About Me

Hi, I'm Andrea, the face behind Educator Culture Matters. As a music educator and former instructional supervisor in my second decade in the field, I understand that students learn most effectively when we address the needs of the whole child.

A series of personal and professional circumstances several years ago prompted me to consider how we can apply that same mindset to the people behind the scenes: our education staff.

As a consultant and researcher, I am committed to improving staff retention and job satisfaction while implementing evidence-based strategies to reduce systemic burnout.

I believe that a healthy staff climate and culture have a direct positive impact on student achievement. Additionally, a significant portion of my research focuses on accessibility and inclusion for teaching staff with disabilities.

I deliver presentations nationwide on topics including arts integration, climate and culture, and disability advocacy. Want to learn more or get in touch with me?

I'm not one of those clinicians or researchers who hasn't been in a classroom in years- I'm in the classroom with students five days a week and love what I do.

My goal is to ensure that all educational staff experience a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in their work, just as I do. Want to book me as a consultant or presenter?
